It Happens

So every once in a while - more like once every year, we make a soap that underperforms.

Either the color is blah or the shape is wrong or whatever it is - it just sits lonely on the shelf.

So this week we took 2 lonely soaps and voila! Made one SENSATIONAL bar of soap.

It was an extremely long process - involving slicing each bar paper thin, then rolling it into a little bud and then making it into soap. Half way through I was ready to give up - it took SO long.

Here are all the little buds lined up - I wonder if this is what it feels like to work in a cigar factory in Cuba:)

But when the finished product was done - it looked breathtaking!! It's a Fresh Lavender Bud Soap and the smell is as intoxicating as the shape.

Why not buy a few bars and tuck them away in a drawer? So when winter comes, you can unwrap a bar of Fresh Lavender Bud and remember that spring is not that far away. This is a limited edition run - we only made 8 bars and once they're gone - they're gone.
