Hello,
I've been sick with a virus. Thought I was dying the other night as all week my neck has been stiff and sore and my throat felt horrible and painful when swallowing. It wasn't improving and by Thursday night it was unbearably hard to swallow and I felt like I was swallowing marbles and a big lump was on my throat (hard to describe but you get the jist). So after tossing and turning all night and not sleeping and wondering if I should go to ER I went online to research symptoms: chills, difficulty swallowing and stiff/painful neck. I couldn't find anything definitive and ruled out meningitis. Decided I'd go to the walk in clinic the next day if I made it that long and was praying for a miracle.
The next morning after seeing the doctor it turns out I just had a virus and the doctor had been seeing a lot of patients with this. So I'm starting to recover after drinking lots of ginger tea, echinacea, chicken soup, coating my neck with Vicks and wrapping it Italian Style (if you don't know what this is, just ask :) .
Photos of my Pacific soap:
Pacific Vegan Luxury Soap (the soaps are wrapped in this photo). |
This soap smells fresh and clean. I used an Ocean scent described as green top notes with fresh
floral, citrus, muguet and jasmine combine with middle notes of
hyacinth, rose, carnation and narcissus rounded out by a base of light
musk. Then a lovely essential oil blend including Petitgrain was added.
I decided to add a floral stamp to this bar. You can find our Pacific Vegan Luxury Soap here. |
And here is our first video but we don't like showing our faces. Local folks know what we look like obviously as you can't sell your products and be invisible (if only, hahahaha). We're adorable but don't have the supermodel bodies we'd like. Maybe when we are feeling like supermodels (or are having a perfect hair day) we'll show our faces.
So here is the first Two Blooms Design Studio video (the video quality isn't great as it's a Nikon L11):
If you can't see it check it out here.

Beauty soap, and fantastic video.
Congratulations.
Those are beautiful! And so glad you did not have meningitis...now, where do you buy your essential oil blends? The ones I mix myself are so hit and miss.
Julia,
Thanks.
Donna,
Thanks, I make my own essential oil blends and have been at it for many years.

Celine,
Thanks, the quality of the video must have been bad on your phone. I can hear the clicking sound in the background which is a flaw of my camera.
Alegria Mediterraneo,
Will check out your article. We've gotten really cold weather lately and I've been going to bed way to late so I think that combination was not a good one for me.
Thanks re the soap. The essential oil blending started years ago when I first started soaping. Lots of experimenting and just following my nose. I like really complex blends but am starting to really appreciate the less complex ones after taking a course 8 months ago.
Lovely to see you on film...well your hands at least! Fabulous! xx
Well, I think you may have a second career as a hand model! I wish my hands were pretty, but alas my nickname could be "man hands" LOL!
Beautiful soap ladies -love the stamp, too...a very nice touch. ~Becky
