Water?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your neighbor's 50,000 LITRE pool in your basement? Well we found out this weekend. The pool collapsed and like a flash flood, filled our basement. Thankfully, all of our supplies were well placed and NOTHING was damaged.

BUT, today our basement was gutted while it gets rebuilt.

So we're not making any custom orders for a few weeks, we've moved our supplies upstairs and we'll just take it a day at a time.

Take a minute to enjoy the people and things around you, things can change in a blink of an eye.

With gratefulness in our hearts,

Splurge Sisters

I just found your blog through The Soap Bar and wanted to take a peak. How wonderful! I love your pictures and your soaps are beautiful! I had to comment on this blog post beacuse-i recently had water in my basement-thankfully not a pool full-but enough to have to gut and remodel-YUCK! Im sitting here in my laptop sized space (not even ehough room for the mouse) on my dining room table-surrounded by supplies and packaging-its the pits! I cant wait to have my work area back-it will be bigger and definately better than before-but the wait is killing me. (Sidenote-part of our basement was the kids area and that has been gutted too-so in addition to work moving up-so have the kids, AHHHHH!)Just wanted to let you know that I can understand, hopefully your work will be done too :) NIce to meet you-Tammy
