Dancing in the Rain

A friend sent me a wonderful little post about how "Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain." And suddenly it dawned as clear as the sun, that simple message would be our theme this year at the market. Dancing in the rain. It's been a long, cold and wet winter - but as sure as the daffodils are spreading all over my garden - it's spring.

Even when it doesn't feel warm and spring like - I am choosing to believe that it is indeed spring. We had a wonderfully, cozy Easter weekend (He's Alive!) and now it's back to the joy of Splurge. Replenishing shelves and creating new things. It's a good feeling to pull out tables, make repairs, design new signs and start counting down our Saturdays. We're still making deliveries and getting our product out there but there is something warm and familiar about returning to a farmers market where as the song goes "everybody knows your name".

So dear friends, it's only a matter of weeks before we'll be back at the market and in the meantime, know that we're thinking of you and dancing in the rain.
